Jesse Burton is a senior researcher in the Energy Systems Research group at the University of Cape Town in South Africa and contributor to the global thinktank E3G. She is a member of the Powering Past Coal Alliance's Just Transition working group, sits on the Advisory Board of the National Entrepreneurship Initiative's Just Transition Pathways Project and is a member of the steering committee of the Mpumalanga Green Economy Cluster. Jesse will talk about sinergies in JET at Universidad Nacional de Colombia with Nadia Combariza co-founder and co-director of the Colombian think tank on energy policy, POLEN Just Transitions who has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidad del Valle, with an emphasis on energy technologies at the Technical University of Hamburg and has more than 10 years of experience working on energy transition in Colombia, Chile and the Dominican Republic.
The dialogue will be moderated by Professor Erasmo Rodriguez, Director of the TRAJECTS LATAM HUB.
